Rena Sofer
Rena Sherel Sofer (born on December 2 1968) is an American actress best known for her roles on daytime television, occasional guest appearances, as well as made-for-television films. Sofer was given the Daytime Emmy Award in 1995 for her performance as Lois Cerullo on the soap show General Hospital. She played Quinn Fuller in the CBS soap drama The Bold and the Beautiful from 2013 until 2022.
Early life
Sofer was born in Arcadia, California, the daughter of Susan Sofer (nee Franzblau) and a psychology professor and Martin Sofer, an Orthodox Rabbi.
Sofer moved with her brother David, her father, to Teaneck (New Jersey) in the year 1970. But, Sofer lived in Western Pennsylvania when she was a kid. They lived in Ambridge, Pennsylvania, where her father led Beth Samuels Jewish Center. She later attended the Frisch School, a coeducational Modern Orthodox Jewish high school located in Paramus, New Jersey. Sofer was raised in North Bergen where her father was the synagogue rabbi Temple Beth El. After graduating from North Bergen High School she was a student at Montclair State College.
Career
Daytime television
Sofer first played Lois Marie Cerullo on General Hospital. In 1993, she was the manager of a band. However, her first high-profile character was Rocky McKenzie on the daytime soap show Loving (1988-91).
